Here is why I don’t recommend any diets that replace healthy food for processed ready meals, snacks or shakes:
Replacing a healthy meal for a highly processed snack, bar or shake does not teach you what you should be eating to have a healthy lifestyle. These replacement meals are just that and people get short term results that do not last over time. Once you stop taking the product you will go back to eating the way you have been and the weight will come straight back on, so then you try the same thing again and this time its a little bit harder to lose the weight.
Each time your body finds it harder to lose the weight, so each time you are trying the same thing that didn’t work fully last time!?! Why would you want to try it again if it didn’t work the first time?
What I want you to do is eat healthy balanced meals and snacks throughout the day. I know its hard to know where to start but this is what will get you results!
Spend a little bit of time to prep your food will allow you more freedom of choice and never leave you feeling really hungry.
Key things for you to do to ensure that you are successful:
Stay away from unhealthy snacks and highly processed foods
Eat, healthy salads with lots of protein, have scrambled eggs and some bacon for breakfast, have lots of veggies, some rice, potato or sweet potato (not a massive amount of it) green veggies are great but aim to get as much colour as possible into your food. Bright natural colours in our veggies are good for us - our brains are naturally attracted to them - that’s why sweets are bright colours (just and FYI - sweets are not good for us!! ;–) )
I want you to know and understand what is good for you to eat – will help you to burn fat and keep progressing. Then on the flip side what is going to cause you to put on fat and stop you from progressing to your full potential.
If you push hard and stay focused on YOUR Goals you will achieve it, but you must stay focused and be honest and consistent, being good for a few days and the drinking a lot or eating to much or eating the wrong foods will stop your progress dead and you will have to start again. Add to this how if feels when you see the weight go back on after a good result the week before!
We want to hold on to how good it feels to lose the weight – THAT IS MASSIVELY POSITIVE!!!
You have 2 choices:
It is so much easier to move forward and that is towards your goals and towards the emotional freedom that you want.
